As the Founder and Editor in Chief of ESPN’s FiveThirtyEight blog, Nate Silver uses statistical analysis to tell compelling stories about politics, sports, science, economics, and lifestyle. Nate’s background and experience in statistics gives him a unique perspective and approach for solving macro-level problems with big data analysis. This acumen on was display during the 2008 presidential election, when he successfully predicted the winner in 50 out of 51 states (including Washington D.C.). Subsequently, in the 2012 election he got them all correct.
