MapR Reveals Presentations on Big Data and Hadoop

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 30 — MapR Technologies, Inc., provider of the top-ranked distribution for Apache Hadoop, announced it will present sessions in May about Hadoop, data warehouse design, machine learning and big data initiatives at events such as Data Summit, Informatica World, Cisco Live!, Chief Data Officer Summit, LA Machine Learning Meetup and Boulder/Denver Big Data Meetup.

Data Summit NYC

1) MapR Senior Curriculum Developer James Casaletto will present a workshop titled: “Hadoop Fundamentals” that will explore the basics of Hadoop, including the Hadoop Distributed File System and MapReduce. Best practices for installing and configuring Hadoop will be discussed.
