SAS Viya Brings AI and Analytics to US Government with FedRAMP Authorization
CARY, N.C., Feb. 4, 2025 — Data and AI leader SAS has achieved FedRAMP authorization for SAS AI and Analytics for Government on FedRAMP. The company’s FedRAMP authorization enables the SAS software stack to operate at the FedRAMP moderate level in the Microsoft Azure commercial cloud. This empowers more government agencies to use SAS Viya in the cloud, providing access to the company’s most advanced trustworthy data and AI platform.
SAS Viya enables federal customers to operationalize predictive analytics and AI regardless of whether code is written in SAS or open source. In addition, SAS Viya includes trustworthy AI capabilities like bias detection, explainability, decision auditability and model monitoring, governance and accountability, increasing confidence in government agencies’ responsible AI efforts.
