Snowflake Ventures Deepens Investment in DataOps.live to Advance Data Engineering Automation

SAN MATEO, Calif., March 25, 2025 — DataOps.live today announced a new investment from Snowflake Ventures to accelerate their joint product roadmap and provide customers with seamless data pipeline automation, enhanced developer experiences, and frictionless access to the DataOps.live platform via the Snowflake Marketplace.

This expanded collaboration will accelerate time-to-success for Snowflake users and align with Snowflake’s broader commitment to optimize data engineering workflows and enable enterprises to efficiently manage their data lifecycle in the cloud. This is the second strategic investment by Snowflake Ventures in DataOps.live.

This latest investment underscores the deepening partnership between the two companies and supports their joint mission to enhance data engineering and operations capabilities for Snowflake customers in a collaborative manner. DataOps.live is one of a handful of companies to attain Snowflake’s coveted Elite Partner status and was recently named Snowflake’s 2024 Product Growth Partner of the Year.

“This additional investment in DataOps.live reflects our joint commitment to provide customers with best-in-class tools that extend and complement Snowflake’s capability for critical Data Engineering workloads,” said Stefan Williams, VP Corporate Development, Snowflake Ventures. “By deepening our investment, we’re enabling enterprises that use Snowflake to leverage scalable, efficient, and automated DataOps solutions to accelerate their digital transformation.”

Snowflake has identified data engineering and CI/CD as key priorities in its product roadmap, recognizing the need for scalable and efficient DataOps solutions. Through this extended partnership, Snowflake customers will benefit from:

  • Enhanced Data Pipelines: Integrated solutions that complement the development, testing, and deployment of data workflows in Snowflake.
  • Improved CI/CD for Data Operations: Advanced capabilities for data pipeline versioning, testing, and automated deployments.
  • Operationalize dbt Projects for Enterprise Scale: Solutions that bridge the gap between dbt development and enterprise deployment success.

This announcement follows closely on the heels of the news that DataOps.live was recognized as a key vendor in five unique 2024 ISG DataOps Buyers Guide reports. Across the categories of Data Observability, Data Orchestration, Data Pipelines, and Data Products, DataOps.live was joined only by IBM and Informatica as one of the three vendors to be recognized for delivering solutions capabilities for all five categories. DataOps.live was ranked Exemplary for Data Orchestration and Data Observability and Innovative for DataOps, Data Pipelines, and Data Products.

“This additional investment from Snowflake underscores the strong alignment of our strategic visions and the demand for modern, cloud-native DataOps solutions,” said Nick Halsey, CEO of DataOps.live. “It also closely aligns us with Snowflake’s product roadmap, joint GTM strategy, and enables the frictionless distribution of DataOps.live to all Snowflake prospects, customers, and partners as a Snowflake Native App on the Snowflake Marketplace. Now the Snowflake ecosystem has a platform that provides ease of adoption and the quickest path to success to deploy specific use cases leveraging the joint platforms.”
